Haiti and Niger, West Africa.

“I will praise God’s name in song

    and glorify him with thanksgiving.” Ps. 69:30

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow…give thanks with a grateful heart.

 Once again we saw evidence of God’s faithfulness and blessing last week ( October 6-15, 2012). We thank Him for His protection over John Brashler in Haiti, and James Borody in Niger, West Africa. Both men arrived back in Kalamazoo Michigan, yesterday (Monday) safe and sound.

Both have given testimony to God’s goodness.

John made visits to 3 sites in Haiti: Baptist Haiti, Hopital Espoir, and Kings Hospital. John gave an enthusiastic report on God’s goodness and faithfulness at each site. Repairs, cleaning, and training to eager students filled his days. John even found some equipment that had gone AWOL at one site! He was greatly encouraged, and was an encouragement to those he worked alongside in Haiti. To God be the glory.

James returned to his second ‘home’, Niger. This visit he found himself installing a new lab at the Fistula Center in Danja. This center was in the works while James served in Niger, so it was great for him to go back, and see the finished work. James was also encouraged to see the lab which he designed, and start installing and training on the new equipment. He was also able to give some guidance at the SIM hospital close by.

We give thanks to our Lord and Savior for His protection over the many miles traveled over land and sea. Also both of our guys are thankful for good health and renewed friendships in both countries.

He is Good and Faithful.
