After 24 hours of travel time from Kalamazoo, Michigan to Libreville Gabon, plus a 90 minute flight from Libreville to Lebamba with Air Calvary, James landed at Bongolo Hospital on April 29, 2013.

Surrounding area, nice and lush...with the accompanying humidity!
James got right to work in the room where the server would find its new home, and the training would take place on the PAACS (Pan-African Academy of Christian Sugeons) software, a module of WWLSS.
5 PAACS residents represented Congo, Madagascar and Mali.
The Administrative Assistant was also trained. Her husband is a PAACS resident at Bongolo, and her father was one of the first PAACS residents to graduate from Bongolo Hospital.
James with Dr. Keir Thelander, the PAACS Director for Bongolo.
After a long day of training, the walk back to the Missionary Compound required a trek up 'Cardiac Hill'.
Being the 'Lab Guy' that he is, James also made a few quick trips into the lab to offer some assistance. :)
Thank you for your continued prayers for the work at WWLAB, and medical work that is taking place all over the world. He is Lord of the Nations.
